I had started a thread on the leaks section but I thought that this would be of interest on anyone on TMO that needs wifi calling on the Q10 device.
First of all, my Q10's are not my go to device-my BB9900's are my daily drivers.
So I found, on Crackberry, the hybrid 10.3.0.296 with radio .441. I installed to my Q10 and it runs wifi on TMO. Of course there are newer leaks which don't support wifi calling (10.3.1.2072 which I have installed on my Z30) but I wanted wifi calling on my Q10 and did not want to go back to the 10.1.xxx (the released version for TMO wifi calling).

    \Why did I go for the 10.3.0.296Hybrid?
    1. Wifi calling.
    2. With 10.3 on , Remember app now has both Tasks and Memos which is what legacy BB9900 has.

I find today that TMO is getting better and better with LTE that penetrates throughout my home so wifi calling is not really needed nor an issue with me. But, when I go visiting especially to Wisconsin, or Serbia I cannot get TMO but can get wifi.
I was also reading what the bigwigs of TMO's plans for the future were and my best guess is that LTE will dominate especially since TMO is refarming their non LTE sites to LTE and are doing so aggressively-go TMO! So I can see in the not too distant future (my opinion) that my BB9900 will have a hard time getting the right non LTE signal. Hence the reason for my Q10's to take over the job from my BB9900 (with great sadness) but time marches on and we have to adapt with the correct tools to "Get things done"- a sobering fact of life unfortunately.

Thanks, looks interesting. I have a Z10 (not a Q) and the last official Tmo OS was 10.2.1.2228 w/wifi-calling, and my unbranded got an update to 10.2.1.3442 which also runs wifi-calling. So, you don't have to go back to 10.1xxx.

On 10.2.1.3442, on the Remember app, is there both Tasks and Memos or is it still only memos?

Don't really use it, but with .3442 under "New Entry" you have a choice between "Note" or "Task". If that's what you mean.

The Remember app is different on 10.3.1 (I guess 10.3.0 also) It's split up more, like two apps in one, like partitioned I guess. Don't know how to explain it. I haven't had it for a while since I needed wifi calling, but when restoring from 10.3.1. to 10.2, the information in my notes area did not restore due to the difference in app versions. The Remember app is a lot more defined in 10.3.1 in regards to tasks and notes.

Yah, this is what I am referring to. I use and have used it quite a bit on legacy BBOS and this was the missing part that BB10 did not initially have. I don't know exactly how .3342 deals with it so I am gonna stick with the 296 with radio hybrid 441 as it seems to be working quite well (not as well as 2072 of course but, hopefully, that may change with the official release of 10.3.1.x.

Do you know if that hybrid is equivalent to the Z10 release which had the pin watermarks? I would do a 10.3 hybrid if it kept wifi calling without the watermarks.

That hybrid (for Q10) is made from the Z10 os 10.3.0.296 (leaked release) . The only difference is that a different radio was used for the Q10 as there were no leaks that I could find that were 10.3.0.296 .
I have the OS10.3.0.296 (os and radio ) which was originally released for the Z10 (as a leak) on my Z10 and wifi calling works great on TMO. Water marks still there on my Z10.

Thanks for the info. I tried that leak but couldn't get past the watermarks, as faded as they were for the most part, I always looked right at them! With 10.3.1 rolling out today, lets see what BBRY and/or TMUS has for us. If 10.3.0 leaked with wifi calling without TMUS branding, maybe there's hope for us still. Here's to hoping!!
