I was at dinner with some friends last night in Irving, TX and noticed it on my phone. It was the first time I have been connected to it. Super fast.

I can't really comment too much regarding NYC, as it has been years since I have visited. However, the last time I was there, coverage was just fine for me on 4G. IIRC, someone on here posted that the LTE is quite fast, but hit or miss depending on your location.

Well, its strange. I don't get any phone service at home. But as soon as I leave and walk a few blocks over, full LTE service in Flushing, NY. But at work in the city, midtown manhattan, I only get 4G, and its very spotty. It will turn on for a bit, then cut off and go to Edge. Very annoying. They mentioned to me how all of manhattan is covered, but still unsure why its cuts out a lot.

As for nyc. It's practically as flawless as you can get. I noticed that when it cuts out a simple toggle of airplane mode helps get it back to speed.

In NYC I started to see it in the Rock Center area a few weeks ago.
Yesterday in Chinatown. Today we have it in Chelsea.
Works great. Google maps loads in an instant!

It works great on Google maps with almost instant download.
For ordinary data, like email and texting, it really does not matter what service you have.

I may be wrong, but, as far as data use: it does not matter if you connect to the internet with 3G, 4G, or 4G-LTE.
The same amount of data (bandwidth) is downloaded and you will be charged for what is used.

I'm in the Kansas City metro area, and LTE launched in KC and Las Vegas the same day that the Z10 launched. I SO WISH that the T-Mo stores in the area made a bigger deal of the Z10 launch just because at the time they only had two LTE capable phones, the Z10 and the Note 2. Since the Z10 was brand new, I would think they would have promoted it more!

I meant as far as speed goes... Web browsing will be throttled once you reach your data limit unless you have " true " unlimited 4G... or will be charged for overages... however your plan is set up

Question, has TM enforced the limit rule and charged overages?
I have a BB PREF unlimited internet plan, and, I don't believe I have had any service reductions.
I do have variable service rates but that depends upon the local towers.

You should call customer service it depends on what plan you have the new simple choice plans just throttle the speed starting after 2.5 gb of 4g data used
