I'm pretty sure there will be an early Passport variant that will work with T-Mobile (I assume you mean in the U.S.), regardless if whether they officially carry it or not. That's a huge bonus of T-Mobile over, say.. Verizon.

Wait, so their evidence is a TMO logo branded Passport? That's not much in the way of proof, unfortunately. There was an AT&T branded Z30 as well, we all know how that turned out...

They could work it out but it should be the TMo-Bag that should call Chen not the other way round.

I want the Passport (white) and use it on medium magenta. Buy direct, buy from Telus or Tmobile finally selling BlackBerry again, one way or another, I'll make it happen.

I agree that tmobile usa will not carry Berries again anytime soon. But I will get a Passport that will work on magenta's spectrum.

I wouldn't be surprised if it isn't released on any carrier. However, T-Mobile would likely be the best carrier to carry the BlackBerry devices. T-Mobile has a relatively fast LTE network, WiFi-calling, no-contracts, and burgeoning consumer interest. If T-Mobile and BlackBerry could come to some agreement, they could possibly revitalize both brands. These days, most carriers don't have many ways of one-uping each other. All the most well-received phones are on all of the carriers. T-Mobile, if they play their cards right, could use BlackBerry as a way of breaking into a more mature market. They could appeal to the mid-aged person's need to get work done. They could market the PassPort as the device the breaks them free from the average smartphone. The Un-Slab.

That pic of the Passport with T-mo branding on the back is a fan-made render by a guy with a twisted sense of humor. A few people have tried to present it as meaningful proof, but it really isn't.

Yes, the Z30 100-5 model was fully compatible, sans wifi-calling of course.

Hmmm. I don't have one, but I could have sworn that even unlocked devices purchased directly from BlackBerry lacked the use of LTE.

    OK. Thanks...

I do not have a Z30 but have two Z10s, one branded, one from BBerry and both have LTE (and wifi-calling).

I think if you search around you'll find that the Z30 100-5 is 100% TMO compatible. Been discussed a bit. Some guess it was originally designed with TMO in mind, before the spat.

Maybe it was designed with T-Mobile in mind. I have no idea. But I have the answer I wanted to get though. I'm not really interested in the Z30 enough to do any real research on it. Thanks again!
