I have been using my new passport for a few weeks already. Excellent experience for work until you discover that you can't share contacts and Gps has serious issues with any maps apps. Any solution in the horizon? I would hate to return the phone to AT&T.

I'm have a BB Passport with AT&T and I'm having the same problem with the GPS with the navigation apps. GPS signal goes in and out and map freezes and lags big time. Even using the BB Navigation app. I heard the LTE signal is causing the issue but don't know that for sure. This really needs to be fixed. I use my phone for navigation quite often. Are there any fixes that can be made now or any coming in an update?

Well, if you're talking about real GPS (not cell tower) -- or even if -- try loading an app called "GPS Status", now on BBerry World. When I had an Android phone everyone swore by it for sorting their GPS issues.

I'm a new At&t Blackberry Passport owner, having the same GPS issue. If I open maps it will locate me but within seconds loose the GPS signal. If I disable data it seems to get the Gps fix again. My software version is 10.3.1.1372

I had to install 10.3.1.2558 on my phone to get GPS to work properly. I'm sure it voided my warranty but I needed it to work. First time I've purchased a new phone with a major function broke right out of the box.

That being said though, I love my Passport and have no regrets switching from Android.

Those of you having the problem, have you tried with another nav app besides BlackBerry maps?

Prior to upgrading the OS I had not tried any other nav apps.

I loaded 10.3.1.2558 as well. It fixed my GPS and contact problem. I also had the flickering problem a few days after I purchased the Passport for ATT. 10.3.1.2558 has my phone running like a champ. No problems after 3 weeks with the new os. I know there are higher updates available, but there is no reason to.
