I know it helps the mods out to report spam that we see in the Forums that haven't been noticed yet. So sometimes I open up a couple forums and see 5 or more spam issues right off the bat. I go to report each one really quick, but theres a 60 second wait before reporting? takes forever to try and report spam if its going to take me 5 minutes to even report 5 of them....
just wondering why the 60 seconds is there each time you report an issue?
The 60-second timer is intended to reduce abusive reporting: "I'm mad at you, so I'm going to report every post you've ever made." Another variation is "I'm mad at the mods because they ... so I'm going to report every other post like ..." Sounds silly, but it happens. Where spam is concerned, we often get multiple reports anyway. Our users are very vigilant.
