I must be doing something wrong because I used to be able to respond, but now I cannot...

Are you using an app? Browser? If browser, mobile or desktop version? Have you tried logging out, then back in?

Interesting...I actually had to logout, hit the reply button, log back in to get to this point...don't remember that from before. I guess I should start using the app instead of my computer.

    Thanks for the tip!

No problemo. And, btw, you shouldn't have to do that each time. I've only had to do so a couple of times in my years here. But there were a couple of server gremlins over the last couple of days. That could be involved.

@moonhacker - if you run into any snags in the future be sure to let us know. If you can give us the steps you take to create the issue, we can try and recreate and fix!

I'm using a pc and while logged in the reply button doesn't appear. When I log out it appears. When I hit the reply button it takes me to the login page. I don't recall having to do that in the past. I haven't tried responding using the app yet...

    Thanks in advance.

btw/ after posting my reply I can still see the reply and quote buttons...The only thing that I can think of is when I initially log in, I am doing so through the contest screen. Don't know why that would matter but....

@moonhacker - try clearing your browser cache while you're at it. Something funny might be going on there. If no success do post some screenshots with descriptions so we can try and recreate!

Why can I not respond to answers to my own question?-2016-11-11.png

Cleared browser cache and still the same. I have to log out in order to see and click the reply button, then it prompts me to log back in at that point. I've attached a screen shot of how it looks when I'm logged in before logging back out.

Well that is really odd. I just checked your account and everything looks fine.

Can you try something else - wondering if it's a browser specific issue (some bad or old code cached) - can you try logging in from a different browser that you haven't used here before?

Same...this time using Microsoft Edge. Maybe it's a Microsoft 10 issue

In one of your shots I see ?mn_qa=1 at the end of the URL. Remove that and let me know if you see the reply button...

That last part appears if you come through our Q&A section. The questions are formatted a little differently for ease of reading (a little cleaner than the standard 'forums' look).
