Okay this is the second time I am trying to type this in here. It keeps timing out, saying replying but nothing.....
Then I hit the button again and it says about double post. Which it never I guess posted. I'm lost...
I have replied to others threads this afternoon and thought I was helping out, then not seeing my posts there, where di dthey go, why is this happening....
Not to happy to try and help others out when my posts are not going through, then I have to keep trying to type up the same thing and see if it goes through. I am finding my self using MSword more to help save what I am typing up so since the site keeps acting up I don't lose my write up. So any suggestions????
The CB folks ugraded their server on the 22nd/23rd and are doing some continuing server work this week according to this http://forums.crackberry.com/f47/jan...-delays-15737/ so I guess we may see sporadic slow response... haven't experienced what you're describing tho.
Hey Guys, Yeah..we're on top of it. Added some more servers into our architecture, still have another one to add, going to shuffle some things around and get it all optimized.
I understand the lagging... it seems when making a forum post it when you hit reply it lags for a bit before posting (then everything loads fast).
I'm not the tech guy, but our tech guys are on it. All i can say in the meantime is THANKS for the patience. We'll have it straightened up soon and should be good for hopefully a long long time to come.
No problem at all Kevin, I completely understand how much fun server upgrades & moves can be This has been comparatively seemless on our end.. keep up the amazing work.
Thanks for the update, didn't mean to sound like I was going off in a rant. I'm an IT guys and understand what problems sites and servers can be... Just wanted to make sure it was not on my end....
OK...our server tweaks/migrations/etc. are all now complete and things should be running smooooth for you all.
THANKS for the patience over the past couple of weeks. There were some laggy times and some up and down times, but we should be good to go from here out.
Thanks! Yeah, things are MUCH better now. My contribution was mainly stressing about the problems... big thanks goes to Marcus, Chris, Dieter and Tom for getting things straightened out. Not much sleep the last couple of weeks!
Still a few tweaks we want to do, so bare with us if you see any glitches (will be temporary), but we should be speedy fast from here out.
