Hi,

On the top right of the forum when you see "Welcome, xxxx" being xxxx your user name just click on your name. You'll be brought to a new page where you'll find an "About me box" with a PIN and a pencil. Just click the pencil and enter you pin code.

For anyone still struggling with this....... go to the top left of this page, just above Post Reply box....... User CP, then Edit profile (in left hand list), then it's the bottom field to fill in

In that same menu bar, on the right side, hit Quick Links, then Edit Your Details



Another thing to remember is that when you post, the initial view of that post may not show those details. However, they will show up the next time you look at the post. So if you want to test them after changing them, post something, then go back to the forum index, then go look at your post again, and they should be there. (I'm guessing it takes the forum software a few extra seconds to make the associations in the database.)

Howdy folks,

A quick note to everyone out there...

You can now add your Device Model, Carrier, and PIN # right beside your Avatar!

If you want to enter any of this information, follow these steps:

Step 1: If you are logged into the site and are reading this, click the My Account link at the top right corner of the site on the main menu. This will take you to your account page. You can change all sorts of things in here, including your password for logging into the site, or create your @CrackBerry.com email forwarder from here.

Step 2: Under Member Account Settings / Options, click the link that says Modify your CrackBerry.com Registration Information

Step 3: You will be under Account Settings. At the top of the page, there will be a link for Device Info. Click Device Info.

Step 4: On this menu you can pick your smartphone and carrier, or if it's not on the drop down list you can specify other smartphones/carriers and enter the model. You can also enter your Device Email here. This is not displayed anywhere publicly on the site, but when you use the Ringtone Gallery or Wallpaper Gallery it will put the address you specify here as the default address to send to when using the Email This Ringtone/Wallpaper functions.

Step 5: Hit Submit and you're done. Your device info is updated throughout the site (forums included!)

yes!!! pins are for the blackberry messenger its not carrier restricted but you do need a data plan for it to work
