Hello. My 2 friends were recently banned from Forums here. Is there an expiration date for ban, or how does it function?

The system we have in place is perfectly fine. And the issue here has been addressed accordingly. This thread itself isn't indicative of the REAL issue. An anon question from a person who knows 2 people who got banned... think about it and I'm sure you can put the pieces together lol.
