why do you have to have 10 posts to do anything?
To prevent spammers, I guess...

From what I understand, it is to deter spambots and spammers in general.
That is correct.
The vast majority of our SPAM comes from single post accounts. If they can not post images or links, it seriously limits their ability to take advantage of our members.
The second category are those that post mean less content to raise their post count. Thanks to our observant members, we are usually aware of them and ready to pounce on their tenth post.
The marketplace is even more demanding. In order to limit the fraud, we require 3 months or membership and 100 posts.
Thanks to all that have helped up make this work.
It is a good rule. Everyone does a great job here to get the Spam reported if it does get posted here and it is gone in no time.
Its a good rule, just frustrating at times haha
We all have to do it.
Very frustrating. I am over in the social forums since I am noob. I have not much to offer to you seasoned veterans. :) but love for my BB
That's why you get out there and ask any questions you may have. This way, you gain all the knowledge that we have to offer and in turn pay it forward to the Newbies that come along looking for help. It's all a cycle of everyone helping each other and learning from each other.
