The settings page takes 6 seconds to open. I kid you not.

Additionally, it sometimes won't save settings and hangs upon clearing the cache.

You know it was getting a bit stale, but at least the old team of CB10 devs kept it stable. Now that it's opened up, things are getting wobbly.

My settings open almost instantly, and the cache is cleared just as fast...

Maybe you should reboot your device, as I faced those problems the first time I opened it after updating.

I think they need to release another follow-up patch to fix these issues.

Rebooting didn't resolve them and I don't feel like reinstalling and having to redo all my settings just for a chance at resolution.

CB has been updated before without having to reinstall. I am confident that they can do it again.

I've also observed the high data consumption by the latest CB10 update which doesn't make sense at all. All I do is browse through the forums, so i can't make sense of it.

In addition to the 142mb on WIFI, there is also 21mb by cellular network.

It's always worked, I actually haven't seen anyone who hasn't has it working.

What's odd is my calendar, contacts and remember apps don't work. I was already messing with my phone for 2 days to just get 10.3 working so I'm not going to bother and wait for a new leak.

Device monitor works on 10.3.0.296, but doesn't on the Developer OS 10.3.0.442.

I'm assuming you are running the .296 OS as core/base, and you sideloaded some updated bars from the dev OS .442. If that's the route you took, then Calendar, Contacts and Remember apps not working is a known issue. You need to sideload those bars from .296 to get them working again.

    These are the files you will need to sideload ;

    sys.pim.calendar
    sys.pim.calendar.viewer.eventcreate
    sys.pim.calendar.viewer.ics
    sys.pim.calendar.viewer.nav
    sys.pim.contacts
    sys.pin.remember

This is a thread about CB10 app... not 10.3 OS... we are not trouble shooting the app for 10.3 leak... there is no sense in doing so. because we know that the app wasn't tested for 10.3

Well, needless to say, the app ran better abandoned then it does now for more than several people. I'm not the only one, so reinstalling is not the optimal solution.

The optimal solution is a clean-up, maintenance patch.

Let's trim the bloat please. Let's spend a little more time and get it right for such an iconic, important app. If any dev wants to contact me for debugging info, I'm wide open. I just want some answers and solutions from the devs instead of fellow consumers telling me and others to just reinstall.

They could make use of betazone before releasing a CB10 update.

You are allowed to. I'm extremely mad at CB for developing a better app on Android vs BB10... it just proves their hypocrisy of wanting more BB10 app support.

Yep president of the mobile nations.

Now I can understand him not working on it because he is not a full time dev but to abandon it is criminal.

And it's more sad that they are asking dev's to help out for free essentially (a promise of advertising).

Yet they had time and cash to develop it for android users.
