You can now clear the Cache on CB app with the new update. It made the app much more pleasing to have on your device. The memory hog it was is no more. You can find the Cache Clear option at the bottom of Settings in the app. Settings is a swipe down option from the top. Woo-hoo! No more deleting and reinstall to recover lost memory. The app seems a little bit snappier too but just may be the OS I am running. Seems to work smoother over all and I think they tweaked the layout too but not sure. I mostly used the browser unless I wanted to upload a screen shot. Then I would delete it after. Now it is a tool that I will be keeping on my z10. Thanks CB..

Gotcha, that would be physical memory. I wonder what mine has grown too. Were we able to check this in the previous version?

That's the application size. right. You've scrolled down in the screenshot, but those looks like physical memory sizes. CB hogging 1GB of RAM is much different than CB taking 1GB of physical space.

I know that I could delete the app and reinstall, but didn't bother. I was actually going to wait to see how long it would take to reach 1gb.

But this update, finally including a dark theme option, was too good to pass up. I went ahead and hit the clear cache button. It took a few minutes, but it worked.

What is missing? Just long press a message post and you get all the reply options on a side bar pop out. Was you referring to something other? :-)

Yep forgot to mention the best part I was so excited about the Cache clearing. The Dark Theme ROCKS too.

By the way too you guys who are keeping large Cache sizes after an update and then clear. You may want to delete the app to zero it out. Then reinstall the update to get and keep the Cache nearer to zero.. Worked for my z10. :-)

Love the app just too warn you (not complaining just thought they might want to look at it early) but on the Z30 using 10.3 some text goes off the screen like it did in a previous version. As I say not a complaint as it's my choice to use the beta just thought you should know in case you want to look at it before 10.3 is pushed out to everyone.

Ahhhh.. OK got you.. Next version we can always hope. Keep posting about it because they are listening to us now.
Both the Dark Theme and Cache Clearing have been posted about many times. They said on the app download spot to post any bugs or issues. That would be a good place to start in the Blackberry apps section about it. Can't hurt and you never know you get enough to chime in on the post. Poof you may get it. Good point and thanks for clearing that up for me. ;-)
It had been way over due for an update anyway. Glad they are back to trying to make it better...

Some people probably never noticed it before. Memory Hog and a half for sure.

May have to delete the app and recover the space then reinstall. Then you should be able to clear it now and then and keep it under control.

This is a great addition to the app by far. A lot of game apps need this option too. Not to mention Box and some other Cloud apps. Some of them I delete and reinstall after a while to recover a memory hogging thurst.
