I recommend to count impressions for every post. Impressions are visible to owner of post is most of cases. But in CB forums you my put it publicly.

By impressions I mean how many people have seen the question.

I also recommend engagements to post, owner/public should see how many people have read the post.

I hope you will understand better if you see twitter is doing same. But twitter is not publicly sharing it.
