You can't (at least on the mobile apps).

You can edit them, and replace text with "deleted" or something like that.

You can edit a post, and when in that mode delete (at least from a browser). You cannot delete a thread. For that you'll need to report the thread, and provide a reason for deletion to the moderators.

And, if you were intending to delete a thread you started because it may be in the wrong location, simply report it and as to have it moved to the correct location.

We can't delete our own threads anymore...even from the browser that I can see. Which is kinda crazy imo, since I literally just posted it and there's no replies.

My reason? I realized I'd posted it under an old account and wanted to switch to the new one so replies would be sent to the right email address.
