It's hard to say. Many folks who sign up give gender neutral user names. There was one person here in the forum who I thought was an anarchist female and I envisioned all kinds of piercings....turned out....nah, he was a man.

It's common to have more male folks appearing on things like that, so don't be surprised.
As for the ratio, let the bosses do the maths

I don't remember any questions in the signup or profile pages so I don't think we even collect gender information in any way which could be analyzed - even if the answers were complete and accurate. Remember this is the internet, things are not always what they seem and some proportion of female users may choose to let others think they are male to avoid the sex-pests.

Anyone crosses me today gets a "damn you, you sex-pest."

Anyway, unless the sign up process asks for a gender (which I'm sure is an optional question,) there would be no way of telling. But yeah, generally the threads do tend to trend massively towards males asking for female PINs. It's been so "bad" at times that there have been threads where ladies share PINs and clearly have to spell out what their intentions are, what types of PINs (males') they are not looking for, etc. But if you really want to see something hilarious/sad, check out BB's Facebook pages. Absolutely littered with PINs, mostly self-identified males'.

My point is,.. unless it involves their field of work, most female smartphone users have better things to do... and guys are just desperate to remain relevant in modern society, so they are eager to help with this type of stuff... Ah wait, that last part was just about me---woops.

I've sometimes wondered the gender of some people here myself. However, after two marriage proposals via BBM... I can safely say I know the majority are guys.
