The phone’s issue is not the same as others posted here. It will show BlackBerry Android then go black again. The light at top right is flashing red.
So the screen works. But it never gets further.
    Ideas?

Plug the phone into charger for ten minutes, leave plugged in and then see if powers up.

Can you get it into bootloader?

This just happen out of the blue, or you have this sitting in a draw for a few months.

If you can get it to the bootloader, I'm sure conite's thinking factory reset or reinstalling the OS.

If you can't, then it's a hardware issue... easiest would be battery replacement. But could be the USB port or main charging board.... so what is it worth to get an old outdated SLAB phone running?

Assume you have tired multiple cables and chargers already...

Cannot get further than just the first screen that says Blackberry Android. Then it goes black. If I unplug it, the red flashing light goes out. So I guess it will not charge. Had been using it the night before so no clue what happened. The battery was not totally depleted. Not sure whether to order battery or not. Yes I have tried multiple cables.

Sounds like the battery has met its god. It just cannot take a charge, if you like the phone change battery. Here is how: https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q...%26FORM%3DVDRE

Replaced the battery and cannot get it to shut off. It says
    Bb boot loader menu. MODE:PRODUCT
Use vol up/down or Power key to select
    1. Barcode
    2. Continue the boot up
    3. Reboot into fast boot.
    4. Turn off the device
Hold power button for 10+seconds to force reset.
I can arrow up and down, but when I press the power button, it just reboots into same screen. Ideas?
Sorry for being clueless about this.

Stay at the bootloader screen and run a wipe autoloader.

Download to PC, unzip it, plug in device, and run flashall.bat.

If you enable Google backups... it didn't have to be associated with an email.

    If you didn't.... yes, crap.

Thanks anyway, all. It won’t go into boot mode and so I cannot get it to work. Guess it is done.

Try volume up instead of volume down. That's the backup bootloader screen.

The bootloader screen IS the menu screen.

This screen. Below. But when I try to do anything,it just arrows through the prompts and will not progress to any of them. I am left pressing the power button and it returns to the same screen. I have tried the volume up and power, volume down and power, just power, and all of the options plus the home button at the bottom.
    The screen below just reappears
    Bb boot loader menu. MODE:PRODUCT
Use vol up/down or Power key to select
    1. Barcode
    2. Continue the boot up
    3. Reboot into fast boot.
    4. Turn off the device

But this is when you plug in the phone to your PC.

Make sure you have the USB drivers installed on your computer, and have downloaded and unzipped the autoloader.

    Just run flashall.bat.
