I've tried this and it worked on my Passport. It also includes a tutorial to install bar files over wifi using chrome with a Playbook extension.

Also; here is a link for a APK to BAR file converter; https://www.mobiles24.co/apk2bar , use at your own risk, I used it but at this don't care if it adds malware, I used it and it worked, Passport still running. Why convert to bar? Apk files install directly with just a tap.

I've been trying to get fennec or firefox back on my Passport. I can't access mega where the apks are stored to put directly on phone.
APK's won't install, I downloaded duckduckgo browser but it can't install. Not really sure if it can be done anymore? I need firefox or fennec to access my Proton Email.

Just download the files to your computer, throw them in dropbox or something, and send yourself a link.

Got same result, white blank page on both links. I'm working on sign in to drop on passport, also downloaded to laptop, also trying to sign in to a gmail on Passport, I'll let you know.

Clear your browser cache. That shouldn't be happening.

Dropbox doesn't work on passport, nor can it be accessed through BB browser,

I set up a gmail mail account, both apks were to large to use gmail and had to put into gdrive, I was able to access gdrive on BB browser, it downloaded as soon as I put in sim card, spectrum wifi wouldn't allow apparently, but anyway the phone install kiwi but refused the other. ANd KIWI worked, got me into my protonmail account! I'm happy, I'm good to go. Your amazing! Wholehearted thanks, now I can work this passport to to bitter end, or longer, as long as kiwi, phone calls and text continues I'm good. I've always be browser based.
