It's official: no more BB branded devices from TCL. Even zombies die eventually.

With all the glory in the rear view mirror I have to say the apex of the Blackberry experience for me was the Z30. Heresy possibly, since the Z30 lacked a PKB, but the overall package -- BB10, extraordinary build, sound (phone and speakers), battery life, HDMI output!,etc -- really, I couldn't ask for anything more.

    Loved that phone.

My first ever BlackBerry device in 2005 the 7130c was my favorite because it was like no other smartphone out there at that time... loved the thumb wheel!!!

After that the Bold 9900 and currently the KEY2 are my all time favorites. Had all the PKB BlackBerry devices except for the Passport.

My KEY2 will be my last BlackBerry unfortunately based on the news today... 😥

I second the 9900 and Key2. And the Key2 will also be my last BlackBerry sadly.

Passport SE by a fairly wide margin.

But i have a definite soft spot for my old Curve 9360. That little guy did a lot of good work for me.

Have to concede the Bold 9900 was a message machine with no equal but, because of its limited screen real estate, multimedia was definitely a constraining experience. The 9900 was my favourite BBOS device though -- the traditional BB form factor perfected.

Same here with my 9320, I loved the keyboard, banging out messages in 20 below overall the 9360 was a better machine, especially the screen but I had trouble typing on its hard keyboard, the keys always felt stiff.

Passport. Other than Z10 and PlayBook, I've never owned any other BB device. I was a massive WebOs/Palm fan.

I only had 3 BlackBerry phones. The Pearl 8100, Torch 9800, and Z10.

Z10 is my favorite. But, I was pretty good at the SureType on the Pearl.

The Torch was a tough little thing (dropped a bunch of times over the three years I had it), but that full vkb and pkb were mighty small for my fingers. The vkb had a SureType option - mimicking the Pearl's two-letters per key layout - but didn't translate as well on a touch screen.

I had a 9320 for a while as well. It actually went for a swim with me in a zippered pocket in a lake for about a half hour. Incredibly it still worked after sitting in front of a fan for a day.

It had everything I could want in a blackberry.

For me, it's the BlackBerry 6210 from 2004. It was a bullet-proof device that allowed me to manage a team of 700+ people across a dozen cities via a constant stream of 24/7 email.

I handled over a million messages on that device.
