    Hi,

    I have a question regarding the updates towards the Key².

    As I already read, the carrier supported devices have to be checked, by the carrier. But how are the 'unlocked-non-carrier-supported' devices rolled out?

    Mine is an unlocked unit on the T-Mobile Netherlands network and the do not support it in any way, how is checking my update prior to OTA release?

    They are rolled out according to whatever regulations and/or certifications that required the specific product variant in the first place.

    Okay, I can understand that but from where does the update getting pushed? Not my carrier, so either BlackBerry self or TCL?

    Everything comes from the TCL server.

    Ah, so effectively when my PRD is within your list, then I should be able to download the update?

    Almost.

    There is sometimes a delay between when it gets posted and when it becomes available OTA - anywhere between minutes and days.

    But as soon as it gets posted, you can run the Sugar Tool and update with a clean install (wipe).
