    What network bands they support.

    The STJ100-1 supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA+ 1/2/8 (i.e. Eurasia), while the STJ100-2 supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 and HSPA+ 1/2/5 (i.e. the Americas).

None of them have LTE (i.e. no Jio or similar carriers), and the only value of a Z3 now is the raw materials. If one is insistent on using it, though, then the STJ100-1.

From Wikipedia, Indian carriers only have HSPA+ band 1 (if at all), so either version would work the same.

There is nothing wrong with the Z3 as long as you know it's limitations which are the same for any BB10 phone.

Don't let others scare you away. Most haven't even used one - I have. It's fine.

    Cheers.
