I can no longer charge my phone. It doesn't recognize the charging cable.
It is my belief that this update is designed to kill BB10 devices.
The phone charged perfectly fine until this new update.

First thing to do with just about any trouble is a hard reset. Hold the power key down for about 12 seconds or so until the red led flashes. Try a different cable, check the health of the battery (it's probably getting long in the tooth by now). I've got 2 BB10 devices and this OS is working beautifully on both.

Software cannot Kill hardware. Likely if you did use something via the cable, there may have been a short that did it in. You just never know.

Very sorry to hear your Z30 died, but we can put to rest the idea that 10.3.3.2137 was designed to kill BB10 devices. Many BB10 users have updated to it and not experienced what you have.

While most would say this is a great time to move away from an obsolete platform (bb10), there are still new Z30's out there you can buy and restore your backup to, assuming you have a current one.

Found one on amazon. Yeah. Do I use the switch device to upload recent backup from old phone before it died?

I've never used device switch; when I've moved from one BB10 device to another I just do a restore. Maybe someone else can comment on which is best?
