So, I thought I'd be clever, and try something I've never done before; NFC a file to my wife's LG G4 using NFC. Unfortunately, neither device recognized each other when touching the backs with or without the cases.

Should this have worked?

Should work, I have with a Nexus.. Start with a bluetooth pairing.

Yes it should, BUT you may have to manually enable Bluetooth on your LG. For some reason BT is needed to be enabled on some android devices. So, to recap, enable NFC on your Z10 then enable NFC and BT on the LG, then try sending a pic or document.
