And in Germany there's a lack of distribution, ordered mine last month and yesterday I got an email saying that the delivery will be delayed and they don't know when it'll be back in stock because there no news from the supplier.

Then don't purchase the device. Wait till price comes down when it's considered old and outdated. Buy a cheaper Android brand.

Obviously, BBMo/TCL isn't going to undercut the carriers price since it needs the carriers to succeed.

Carriers had exclusive rights for 60 days in exchange for some advertising assistance and carrier backing.

Well worth it for TCL and many customers.

This phone is built from cheap, generic parts. Costs probably $100-150 to build. With their margin at that ridiculous price, i would think they don’t need to sell too many to eke out a profit.
