    Hi,I've updated my BB OS where all contacts disappeared.I updated via desktop manager.But I don't have a back up file either.Can anyone advise me to recover them back please?

    With no backup, you can't. Unless they were associated to whatever email service you were using. You might be able to export a copy of them from there.

    It's possible that BlackBerry Protect has your contacts saved.... It use to do this with BBOS, if you used BlackBerry Protect. If not see if you taught to save the info to the SIM.
