If you haven't already done so, get a new charger designed for qualcomm quick charge 2 at least, you'll be amazed at how fast your Passport charges compared to charger that comes with it.

Not on my PPSE, not a bit, but I do take it off charge shortly after charge. Note; the Qualcomm chip in PP has Quick Charge, 1.0, It was never advertised and it may not be fully funtional but there is a highly noticeable difference between original charger and the charger that I have for a Nexus 6P.

I wouldn't waste the money on a QC2 charger. Although the SoC supports it, the Passport does not.

A 5V, 2A charger is more than you'd ever need. Passport comes with a 5V, 1.3A charger, and PlayBook charger is 5V, 1.8A.

Well it does charge faster than the original one, that is a fact.

Sure does, but no faster than a 1.8-2.0A charger at a fraction of the cost.

I'm charging with a portable battery marked "2X.". It's awesome! I've never seen the device charge up so fast and while in full use. I'm using it for the first time while reading this by coincidence.
