I currently have TMobile and they finally pulled the plug on my BIS. Just wondering if there are any other carriers out there with BIS still and if so for how much longer?

What phone are you using? Are you on Simple Choice with TMo?

AT&T still has it... for now. Don't know for how much longer, though.

Just added a BB 9860 in the last 30 days and BIS was automatically setup when they popped in the SIM card. It was setup as brand new line.

Looking to keep my 9780 going. I'm open to carriers if it's reasonable but also have my Q10/Classic on TMobile.

Are you on the Simple Choice plan with T-Mobile?

Yes I am on the Simple Choice plan. I have had BIS since 2012 with my first BlackBerry.

Okay, thanks. The Simple Choice plan allows for a similar feature to BIS. TMo calls it Unlimited BlackBerry Service. As long as you have a plan which is $50 or more per month, there is no additional charge.

Well I noticed I hadn't been getting any emails in on my 9780. I received a message stating that my "BIS had been deactivated or suspended and to contact my wireless provider"So I called and my BIS was active on their side. We even rebooted the device and no such luck. I'm assuming BIS is no longer running on the Tmobile network?

Any other options? Should I try calling again and maybe this BlackBerry Specialist will know what's wrong?

Still have not gotten the 9780 up and running 100% however I may have made a bit of progress.

I put my sim from the 9780 into my 9900 and as soon as I entered in my BBID everything worked. This included my bbm, emails, calendar, visual voicemail, etc.

I thought maybe I just need to re-enter my BBID into the 9780 for some reason. Put the sim back into the 9780 and kept getting the same message under the setup email screen about having my BIS suspended.

So I did a security wipe on my 9780 and re-entered my BBID and still no luck setting up the email. The strange thing is though that my BBM is working which I didnt think would work if I didnt have my BIS working.

    Anyone have any ideas?

Hey not sure if you ever figured this out. I have same problem and with same carrier. Bbm works but email is suspended.
