I just sent my PP in for a repair, and now evernote is publishing a 3 day notice to remove app from BBW...

Is there a way I can safe the app onto computer, Mac or other BlackBerry 10 device and the later install onto my Passport when it returns from repair???

otherwise - maybe someone can extract app from the phone?

Yes extracting should be a solution, but how do you do this? I have two other BlackBerry 10 devices...

I just looked for Evernote on my Passport and not only is the app gone but it's nowhere to be found in BBW. When did this happen?

Which BB do you have? Does it still work on your phone? What if you reboot your phone, is the app still there?

Been using it the past few days to take notes for class and it's working fine. Not sure when I last rebooted but I'm not about to take the chance now and risk losing it lol.

I just tried to see if I could download it from Amazon App Store but it doesn't appear to be there either!

The app isn't going to just disappear from your phone. You're safe to reboot or whatever.

They won't support or update the app anymore, but it will still work for some time and will stay on your phone until you delete it. It still works on my Z10, and syncs with my Galaxy S8.

And, no, extraction is NOT possible. But, if you have Link, and it works for you (it doesn't work for everyone), do a full backup with apps, and you can selectively restore specific apps back to the phone later, like after resetting the OS, doing a wipe, or using a new OS autoloader.

I did not delete the app manually, in fact, because I have a paid subscription in order to access it on several devices. So yes, it did disappear from my phone. I have a Passport, if that makes any difference.

Can you try going to BBW and then My Apps and Games then Check for updates? Wonder if that's how it gets removed.

Okay... that it disappeared off the phone is unusual. That means they have to have access to your phone to remotely delete it. That's not normal.

I was on my Z10 last night when I posted last. I'm away from the house and on my S8 now, but before I posted what I did, I checked my Z10 and forgot that I did actually delete it off the phone because I'm not using it anymore - my 8-year-old is as a "micro tablet". Anyway, I looked up in BBW and saw Evernote was still available for download. I re-downloaded, signed back in and everything was still there.

So, I don't know what's going on with your Passport, but it shouldn't matter. The same app is used on all BB10 devices.

I am using the basic version. I don't know if that makes a difference or not.

On my computer, I went to BBW. Searched for "Evernote". No results. Changed countries in the drop-down, tried different carriers. It does NOT show up. I would like someone to please prove that it is still there by taking a pic of Evernote showing in BBW on their phone or from their computer's browser showing Evernote as available for download. Otherwise I'm calling foul.

Okay, for some reason, the first image of my app screen is not showing up on my CB10 (a common occurrence for a lot of images in this app). But in the browser - phone or desktop - it will be there.

This is a bug in the iOS version of the app. I've reported it several times.
