    The replacement process seems to be different for every person, people have posted here about getting their replacement in a couple of days without even having to send their defective unit first. Others are reporting having to send their phone first and taking a few weeks to get their replacement unit. What gives? I would fix it myself if my screen lifted honestly, I mean what is TCL going to say later on if you end up having to send your device for something else? "we found quality glue holding your screen and there shouldn't be any because we decided to save 25 cents in manufacturing"

    Today's update:

    - called SBE-LTD UK (Repair Centre) to get a status on my repair/replacement;
    - after a 45min wait (on hold) they told me that my KeyOne arrived 30mins ago (shipped Weds morning);
    - they "think" it is covered by the warranty and to check the status again in 5-7 days from today or more as they are not sure yet..
    - BB Hotline said on Monday that in 3-5 days I will get a replacement.

    Dissapointment continues..
    That's ridiculous, I'm gonna go into car phone warehouse in the morning, hopefully it's a better response!

    Mine did the exact same thing!! I've been using it for 2 days. Never dropped and always in a case.

    if that's true, then the screen shouldn't even come off. As of right now, i can just lift up with the suction cup. The resistance is less than that of a post it note.
    Mine is 2 days old and the screen pops out if I turn it over. No resistance at all

    I know most of us would rather get a brand new improved adhesive model but I'd rather NOT go through the resetting up of the device! If I can just walk into a repair center to reglue and providing there is no damage to the connection cable I'd honestly be OK with that!!!

    If they're anything like LG they'd honor the warranty beyond one year and fix/replace for free.

    LG did that for their G4 for its bootloop issue that was a result of a cheap component used on the mobo that failed after about a year of use loll

    I had the G4 in Singapore and LG refused to fixed it after it went into bootloop exactly after one year of use. Don't think these companies apply their policy evenly globally due to the different laws in different countries. swore off LG phones after this.
