I think that's the point. Whatsapp runs till the KEYone comes out pretty much. Gives ppl that month buffer to make the switch. Coincidence?

You can probably use the android version after this month if you wan't to stick with bb10. And maybe they will extend the support or maybe not. We can just wait and see.

Just a coincidence. Whatsapp has said they are pulling support for BB10 long before even the K1 announcement.

It's simple. There are not enough BB10 users to support continued development and support for Whatsapp. This is just the start a long slow decline. I'd get used to disappearing BB10 apps.
