Hi guys and gals, I have following problem:

I would like to recive emails on to my BB 9000/9700, but I don't want to pay 10 bugs a month for that service.
All I need is a simple app, that works with a pop3 email account( I use gmx)

There are some old apps out there such as LocigMail, or PicoMail, but non of them worked for me. <- they can't make a connection to the email server.

My question: Is there still an 3rd party email app out there that works on my old Bold phones?

That $10 is for more than email service..... Without BIS there will be other issues.

You can learn more about it and the workarounds, but they list both LocigMail and PicoMail....

Thank you soo much for posting that link. All I had to do was setting SSL to TSL. I' ve tried it for years, to setup my private email on my Bold, but it never worked. Now I finally can use all the features of my 9000.
