Taken from Bla1zes blogpost there could be a new camera app UI for nougat, first to be seen on BB Aurora.

As already one video was set to private in this article I thought I'll share it here:

Sadly those trailers for time-lapse and clone feature also disappeared:

Seems not in march as camera is not among the updated apps. So we all get Nougat in April then with nougat apps

Here is one complete video of all new camera features, accessible for now (grab it like it's hot):

All the new modes seem to be needing a tripod, so that's why they are called Pro I guess:

Hmm new UI seems not to be initially on KEYone

    Seen on; http://m.crackberry.com/getting-star...yone-devicebox

Or is this other cam app really Aurora exclusive?

Those additional features should be accessed through professional mode. Looks just like mine on Nougat, using a Z Force. I don't imagine a different apk is necessary.

Well I guess PRO is also an extra option on the other UI, but hey perhaps you are right and the new UI apears on PRO.

Finally i could have a chance to play with the aurora yesterday when i went to a phone Shop. I feel proud of this phone, the build quality is there, it's built to last and the OS is optimised for Nougat. I'm now confident that when it's time for Nougat to arrive on our privs or dteks then the experience will also be similar.

However, what's interesting is the camera app. Seems the app is not developed in house by BBRY instead it's developed by a company called the NovaVision. And I'm very impressed with the performance of the camera app, the menus it offers, the capability and the colour saturation. For a phone with USD 270 (IDR 3.499 million) it's more than just that.

Not sure whether the K1 also utilises the same camera app by NovaVision or in house but i hope, the new camera app will come soon to our privs along with the Nougat update. Please come soon Nougat... Please BBRY...

So it seems to be an Aurora exclusive.

    https://forums.crackberry.com/showth...hp?p=12884717:

Here's BlackBerry's Alex Thurber in a very recent blogcast on UTB.

Thurber discusses lotsa stuff that crackberry members ask lotsa questions about. So, listen for yourself, don't rely on others to tell you their (mis)interpretation of what he said, or what's what.

42'13" approx, aurora camera app, not a BlackBerry camera app. No indication as yet as to whether aurora mob will release it to other devices.

    Lotsa other interesting stuff discussed.
