    Hey guys ! Forget about any fb messenger client. Facebook has released Facebook Messenger Lite. Works fine on BlackBerry Passport , no battery draining, hub notification works as goodas android app usually does.

    I believe he is referring to new facebook messenger lite, which will soon be available for all users. For now only in few countries. Original facebook product.

    I like the new messenger lite, installed from apkmirror also. I have installed first on my Asus MemoPad HD 7 android tablet. It works flawlessly, but only thing I don't like is that there is no option to share directly from share function anything to lite messenger directly. Also below you can see how smaller cache it occupied compared to official messenger full version.

    No i'm not haha, i'm talking about the new app from Fb. It 's still missing some key features : Calling, an online contact list, but still way over nemory's app...

    For some reason, when downloaded directly by BB10, it may call it a .TXT file. You will have to rename it to .APK.

    Then should work.

    Connect to pc and rename it. However if it is getting downloaded directly from web, download the same in pc and transfer.

    It will allow the ( with naming it.

    If you look closely at the beginning of the name string, he put a period "." (full stop) in the name. That is the reason.
