Hi,
I use the 8220 as a backup phone.
I installed Whatsapp from the BB World without a problem, but when i try to activate my account i get an error saying "Update your phone".
It basically says that my Os (4.6) is too old, but i know that Whatsapp used to work on this phone.
So, how can i make it work?

An old version of Whatsapp worked on your old phone.
With updates or upgrades to your device.... the apps have to be in sync with the new!

Try installing Windows 95 on your computer and it won't run because the drivers no longer exist for today's software. Same goes for your mobile device which is a very sophisticated Computer!
Personally I won't trust mobile technology until I can download food!!

Unfortunately, you're going to have to get a newer backup phone.
Our minimum OS version for new installs on BlackBerry is switching to OS 5.0, and the 8220 is one of the only OS 4.6 phones that cannot be upgraded to 5.0.
