Hi, I dropped my K1 (silver) and screen popped off. I put it back on but it's not working. there is a piece that ripped in the inside and I believe that is the issue with it not working.

this is my second K1 and it's the replacement I received from BB when the screen popped off from the first one due the glue issue from the initial build. Am I SOL?

Any obvious damage on the outside? Sounds like the screen was defective in the first place. You could try to send it for warranty repair and see what they say.

no, none at all. it fell from hand to a tiled floor from about 4ft. yes, I am sure the phone was a previously fixed one they cycled through when all the returns werer happening on the glue issue. I am at the at&t store now and will see what they can do if anything but it already sounds like I will have to send it back to BB and get a temp phone for now. I took some pics with my SP3, they are nAm I SOL on dropped K1-win_20171213_17_56_15_pro.jpgot very good but you see the inside that tore.

When mine failed the connector ripped right out too. It wasn't an issue to get a replacement sent.

Thanks! I hope that holds true for me also. Did you go through BB or the retailer you bought it from? I originally purchased from Amazon and the replacement came from BB. Fingers crossed. Stll at AT&T and they have already said they don't do repairs here. Sigh.

This wouldn't be one of AT&T's Keyone phones since they only sell the Keyone in black online only.

Send it in to BlackBerry repair centre. They will send you a refurbished device for free for any screen fallout issue.

It would be wise for those who get replacement KEYone's to do the *2886# test to find out what date the phone was made. anything before July 10th is not safe from screen lift.

This is my second one and the date on it is/was 5/28 so I was expecting it to fail at some point.

I can't access the IMEI and Build on the phone, do you know if there is another way to get this information? I need to give it to BB to set up the return/fix and they are asking for this. Lesson learned, next time I'll write down all of this info and save it separately.

I'm guessing you don't have the box for this replacement? I'm not sure how to the IMEI without box and broken screen ribbon.

I just looked at my KEYᵒⁿᵉ and I don't have one of these in my sim hole. Is it hidden in there?

Yes pull out sim tray... it is on the side of the screen.. use the sim tool and there should be that little notch for you to try to pull out.
