    Hi,

My 9900 is stuck on 'Restoring BBM'. I'm on EE in the UK and have a BIS account and am registered on the network.

    Help!

I didn't know BIS was still available.
Can you try using strict wi-fi instead (turn off cellular)?

I've been watching this thread and your other one. I can't really help with the BIS related issues because I've never had it, but I'm starting to wonder if you might need to reinstall the OS. The O2 UK version of 7.1.0.1098 is very stable and reliable. What version are you on currently and did you install it or was it pre-installed on the device when you got it?

If you were trying to switch from your BBM ID that you were using on your DTEK50, it won't work.

Yes that is the only choice you have. Unfortunately.

Nice catch. I guess this is going to be a problem we're going to see in the legacy forums constantly from this point forward.

The only true BBM is for BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10. Any other BBM on Android or iOS version is just only a clone for the mass. Nothing different compared to WhatsApp or Facebook chat.
