It's coming any second. I can't do much with it since I don't have a SIM card. I guess just charge it!

Just used the no wipe without issue to go from 472 to 683.

If you are using my wipe script it will still prompt you that it will wipe all data. When you respond "y" it will say "skipping wipe"

Well, in a rare occurrence, Amazon actually messed up the Prime shipping. So now I have to wait for tomorrow for my K1. I am trying to do some work now on my laptop without Internet access, and of course my Q10 browser cannot properly navigate the website I need for some information. K1 can't come soon enough!

Timing is everything. And this TIME, the Verizon cdma KeyOne, at least, mine and another, got the update last night. It was on my device this morning waiting for me to approve INSTALL. Done.

Verizon still charges you full price, read the fine print. Buying from them only works if you want to finance it over a couple years.

Verizon does not sell it at all at the moment. The "Verizon" version is only available from 3rd parties including Amazon and Best Buy.

I think they meant that they would prefer paying monthly installments and not the full price up front.

    Yes.

I had a guy at work thinking it was 2005 and convinced his new Samsung was only $200.

    Yes.

Better off buying one with all the bands you will encounter in your travels.

One of the recent VZW branded phones I had stopped working when I left the US. Had a gray screen to call customer service, which I couldn't because it was stuck in the can't complete the call as dialed loop.

    I since switched to AT&T.

Well, I have not had a chance to try the KeyOne outside of the US but hope to in Feb. But past Verizon BB phones have worked in Europe and others have reported that they've used the "Verizon" KeyOne while traveling to europe.

They tried to mess up my Prime shipping, but I harassed them until an out of breath deliveryman from some obscure company arrived at my house out of breath at 9PM. Poor guy, but it's not my problem. I gave him a small tip.

Good news - I haven't had a chance to study the bands yet.

I'm planning on getting the Space Black or Motion for my next phone.

It's here! I don't have time to do much with it and don't have a SIM card for it. I will have to go to the Verizon store this week. But very first impression is that it looks awesome and is much heavier than I expected.
