Anyone have the way to fix? Weak of signal, always show emergency call and sos. Sim signal is strong if using other phone. But if using passports it's weak and no signal and have signal in certain areas.

Is the Passport supported on your carrier? Does it have all the correct frequencies / bands?

Yes it's supported but when I making a call my phone signal drop. I don't know how to fix. I think the problem is my OS.

What OS are you running on the phone? 10.3.3.2205 is the latest, but I'm not saying it's the best for the Passport.

Provide more info, and maybe a better solution can be found

    Model of your Passport
    BB10 OS Version
    Carrier/Provider
Has the phone every worked correctly for you - or is it new to you?

SQW100-1 V10.3.3.2205, radio V10.3.3.2206, software release V10.3.3.1463. Can't calling out its will suddenly turning my signal off. Always show emergency call. Which version of your passport that run smoothly without any issues?

You are not alone. Known issue. No solution. Turn it off, make it as paper weight and move on. Been trying to find solution, no luck. but I have passed the denial stage.

Once I get 4G i can't making a call. But if it's 3G I can making a call. I think the frequency is not strong enough. Sometime when I moving to somewhere it's show emergency call only. Maybe the hardware problem or my carrier line is not strongly to receive the signal. Nothing fix. Should let go my BB Passport. So sad. Love this phone.

4G that was the issue? Passport doesn't do 4G VoLTE if that is the problem...unless your mobile phone operator supports it...

It's a common issue with Passport. BlackBerry has provided no solution as it is likely a hardware failure. Sorry about your bad luck. You are not alone.

Was having this issue today in Thailand Phuket. Bangkok was fine, hit the beach in the afternoon and kept losing connection. Put the SIM in my iPhone 7, no problems. Decide to try again around 5:30pm in the evening and now I have solid connection, no issues. Super frustrating, but this could be temperature related. However this is my 3rd passport, and the reasons for the issue is the exact same reason. I'm just happy mobile connection is now stable... I don NOT want to buy another one!!

Oh no. I've just downloaded this update and it appears to be working fine on my passport, hope it stays this way. I live in a small seaside village with no 4g signal in fact I think it's only 2g but I can still see signal bars. Lately I have seen a signal issue with the android and apple phones in the house but I think that is a mobile /cell tower issue after the last bad storms we had a couple of weeks ago. Long live my passport ;-)

Does this antenna problem affect SE as well? Or is just an OG problem?
