I couldn't get the native LinkedIn app to work, so I tried to uninstall it.

The icon has now gone from the desktop, but it's still listed in my Blackberry World app list. When I click on "Open" nothing happens, but when I click on delete, it says "Failed to uninstall LinkedIn". So it's just there, and it can't be opened or deleted.

I tried using Ghost Commander to find any remnants of the app in there, but had no joy.

Is there somewhere specific in Ghost Commander to look for it?

Any other ideas?

Never really used Ghost Commander for native apps, was usually just Android Apps that it seemed to work with.... but too be honest I don't remember.

Generally I used Darcy's Tools or the PlayBook Chrome Extension... to remove apps or reinstall them. But not all apps could be uninstalled.

Ghost Commander only works with android apps. The app itself is an android app so it has no access to the native BB10 app install location.

As to why LinkedIn is not fully un-installing, I'm at a loss.

I've un-installing and re-installed that particular app many times over the years.

And, just to be clear, you are talking about LinkedIn for BlackBerry from BBW, and not the android app?

Android apps had a problem not fully un-installing in the last few OS 10.3.2 builds, but was fixed with a runtime update, and is not a problem with any 10.3.3 build. But BB10 apps were not affected. That's why your issue puzzles me.

Yes - I should have said... it's the native BB10 app, on my Q10.
