Did you patch the app on your PC?

    Hi everyone.
It feels superhard to make this works. Here is what I've done so far:
    1) Instal Google Play Services : com.google.android.gms-10.0.84-cobalt-build1
    2) Instal Google Account Manager (4.3.3) : com.google.android.gsf.login-4.3.3-cobalt
    3) Log in Google Account Manager
    4) Instal Google Account Manager (4.3.4) : com.google.android.gsf.login-4.4.4
    5) Instal Blackberry Google ID : cobalt.blackberry.googleid-2.8
    6) Register in Blackberry Google ID
    7) Instal Google Play Store : com.android.vending-6.0.0-cobalt-build1
    8) Browse Google Play Store and instal app
I tried Shazam and Spotify : store crashes
I'd like to use Google Maps. I used to use sna** but apps are going down one after the other.
I don't want to remove the ones still working because I won't be able to reinstal them.
    Unless I got cobalt's method working :-)
Can anyone give me a hand on this ?
    Thanks in advance

I can see Play Store, PlayStore, BlackBerry Google ID, and Google Account. I'm guessing I can uninstall them by holding the icon until they start to "wiggle" and press the trash can.

What's puzzling is that I cannot find any apk's for these items.

    Should there be?

I believe I installed Cobalt's stuff in 2016. I see apk's if I go into the downloads folder using File Manager or Ghost Commander, but nothing related to the Cobalt stuff.

Hello, thank you the store is now working perfectly!
I still have one issue: 2 apps (Skype + one used for paris tube stations) told me they would not be working completely, for example: "Skype depends of the Google Play services, which are not compatible with your device. please contact the ... to get help".
Is there something I should do?
Here is the first step I did regarding Google Services:
    1) Instal Google Play Services : com.google.android.gms-10.0.84-cobalt-build1
    Thanks in advance! :-)

Seems like everything has been installed correctly but when I try to open the Play Store I get a white screen and a spinning loading circle forever. Tried rebooting everything, deleting everything and starting over and can't fix it....any ideas??

    Hello,

I'm having problems with Google Trips app.

It used to work nicely, but after I've done hard reset, all I'm getting is blank screen with button "retry" in the middle and prompt "Sorry download failed, please check network" when i press it. The app itself is connected to my google account and the network is working just fine for other apps.

The App is fully patched (using last version of apktool) and whitelisted.

Do you please have any idea how to fix this please?

    thank you

    Hello, thank you for reply.

Yes the whole package is installed and running.

Do you think that reinstall of GPS might help?

btw, is there any way to verify the GPS is actually running?

EDIT: For some reason I had older version of GPS installed. Google Trips works nicely with the latest one.

Hi there, I'm new to Blackberry, but quite used to tweek things. I have all the cobalt things installed and working, mostly working very well!

However, I have a ticket app for public transports (Gothenburg, Sweden) which won't cooperate. It's called Västtrafik ToGo. According to patcher it needs not to be patched, but thing is it just works after 5-6 start up trials, the other times the message is that it "unfortunately is going to be stopped". When it works, it works as long as I'm doing something with it, otherwise it closes after some minute with the message above.

Do someone recognise this behaviour and have some clue?

    Thanks!

There IS something to patch. Make sure you install Play Services Patcher off the root drive - it gets confused if it's too deep on your drive.

I have seen that advice and think it is off root quite a bit. I'll try to move it anyway and see If something happens. Thank you!

Tried patching, with the patcher at desktop - no difference. Tried it in other different places off root - no difference. Anyway, the patcher in fact reports "google play services dependencies" but yet suggest that no patching is needed.
