I've tried LastPass v3.4.34, the outdated standalone version they offer on their site, and also v4.0.52 which is from the Amazon App Store (outdated in comparison to the up-to-date Google Play store version) and neither work on BB10 v10.3.2 in my experience.

Last time I tried them, from memory, they launched but they remained on the login screen and never opened the vault (using the correct username/password, obviously). v3 may have not even launched, can't recall exactly.

Does the Google Play store version work? Or is anyone successfully running LastPass on BB10?

    Update:

Thanks to brookie229's suggestion I used the open source Yalp app to download the version from the Google Play Store and it works! Didn't even require using my own Google account credentials, either.

Deja vu? Not sure I follow. Edit: oh I see, you posted in my other thread

If someone mentions it works on BB10 I think I'll grab the Google Play APK using the desktop program called Raccoon, since I'm not fond of installing Google Play on the device itself. Haven't set up Raccoon yet though so thought I'd create the topic in case users have some experience with LastPass on BB10 and which versions work for them.

I have had the same issues. The old BB10 version, which is no longer available, worked great until I made the mistake of installing the Amazon version, which as you know, fails miserably.

Good luck, and let me know how it goes for you.

You can use the Yalp Store which incorporates Racoon. Works great and looks great. See here https://f-droid.org/packages/com.git...min.yalpstore/

By setting up Google Play, you are assured of getting the correct version and variant of the app for the BB10 Runtime.

Otherwise you will have to make sure you only download apps for Android 4.3 and below, arm-only.

Right, yeah. I've been conscious to only look for those compatible with the correct Android version but hadn't considered the CPU architecture. I'll have to re-check Raccoon, as I believe device info can be set.

Thanks for the recommendation. This line caught my eye:

By default Yalp Store connects to Google services using a built-in account, so you do not have to own a Google account to use it. The only reason to use a live Google account is to access the paid apps you own.
So it seems it includes some developer-made account for users who don't want to use their own? Nice idea. Though I'm reading conflicting reports whether you need your own account (they may be from an older version before that feature was added).

Yup, it provides its own login credentials. Super.

    Screenshots:

Presumably 'GSF' = Google Services Framework, and based on the app description depends on Google Play services. I guess Yalp integrates with this?

Anywhoo, installed LastPass v4.3.867 via Yalp and... it worked! @bb10adopter111
