    has anyone bought a sprint CDMA keyone and tried a Verizon Sim with it?
    i played with a sprint version, and it seems to have many more features that are missing on the unlocked keyone.

    - vibrate on call connect
    - latest android security patch

    Might have the latest security patch today.... few months from now that might not be the case.

    Maybe someone waited and bought the SPRINT KEYone and has found it unusable on SPRINT network and has moved over to Verizon.... and they'll let you know. In theory it should, but I think most would rather have a carrier unlocked phone.

    right. its also $520 at sprint. so a little cheaper. would be nice to know if anyone is out there....

    Just a little warning KeyOne when it crashes be ready to start from scratch. No desktop backup software anymore. Backup third party apps are a joke

    Not entirely from scratch. You will lose your icon placements and widgets if using BB Launcher. Apps that you've acquired are all still available and some might be reinstalled when you re-establish your google id credentials. Similarly, if you've used Google, calendar and contacts are restored.

    The Notes app does not have any backup method (Exchange, perhaps???). Google will store certain app settings.

    But there is no Link or Desktop software that backs up the whole thing.
