    After reading about tweaking settings on the KEYone, I looked at my Verizon Q10 network settings. I had always left it on global, but should I actually set it to LTE/CDMA? If so, that will still let me talk and use data at the same time, correct?

    No it will not, I tried it - It auto recovers back to the default one .

    I switched mine and it has stayed put. But is it necessary?

    No but I am wondering if there is a disadvantage because the phone is looking for all options.

    If there's no problem just leave it alone. Don't go looking for trouble just because someone else has issues.
