hi just checking in, a little insight would be nice. I checked and I finally got the June / July update notice, downloaded and installed it but it doesn't show up, I still have the May 5 security update?

anyone else see this?

OK, great thanks for the confirmation. I also have an unlocked Dtek60 from Crackberry, but I'm with Bell in Quebec. No update yet....

For those with no update, juste something to try as this has happen with some android phone in the past, if you have disabled any app restore them, let them update, reboot and check if the update showed up.

priv just received another Security July update. My 60 has June update, no July update. More love for the Priv than the Dtek devices. I know Chen was using a Priv...not sure if he ever used a dtek 60.

No June update on my DTEK60. Tried the dialler to no avail. But after learning of the issues others are having, I am willing to wait.

My problems with the DTEK60 are mounting:

1) Shuts off for no reason ;
2) won't save camera photos ;
3) sometimes doesn't charge overnight, even with BlackBerry official charger;
4) incredibly slow;
5) deletes photos when editing them;
6) wipes out hundreds of photos for no reason ;
7) drops calls or sound during calls.
8) says "lack of memory" even when settings show plenty of space;
9) won't permit PC access to docs or photos on phone when cabled to computer.

Time to switch to Samsung or Apple...

None of these things have anything to do with security patches.

Try a factory reset.

I have been noticing more and more camera failure in saving pictures. You think it saved but when you look it isn't there. Or when taking pictures you get fail message. So Tony you aren't only one having some problems.

Sounds like an SD card issue. May be starting to fail.

Definitely a SD card failure. I used the old SD card from my old Z30. It failed after a month. When I read up on it.it had something to do with the way it was formatted.

No DTEK60 is carrier locked. You'll get it eventually.
