Very good device. Very happy with it. Unfortunately, soon I will replace it for "practical" reasons. It was a very useful everyday tool and I am gonna miss it for sure.

If they can make a real success of BlackBerry Mobile and remain in (and significantly increase their) business it might just happen one day. There remains some demand for smaller handsets, case in point - - the iPhone SE

Because of work-imposed app requirements, I ended up switching to the iPhone SE from my trusty Q10. Although I find the whole logic of iOS and other Apple systems weird, on the whole I am very pleased. The adjustment period was short. From a pocketability standpoint, this was the most logical (and from what I can tell the only) choice. The battery life is impressive, so I haven't missed the Q10's replaceable battery (yet). My firm retracted its app requirement that forced me to switch, but even though I do miss my Q10 (and even fire it up once in a while and use it on wifi), I am sticking with the iPhone SE. It does much more than my Q10 could ever do, and there are just a few things that Q10 could do that iPhone cannot. And, I type much faster on the iPhone SE (though not nearly as accurately).

I must say my Q10 is the sexiest phone I have ever used. It's a typing machine working power house for texting Whatsapp and email. I want to keep this device with me until it completely destroyed which I'm sure will not happen so soon.

Just fitted new keyboard and frame to my 4 year old Q10, looks like new againStill use it as a second phone for emails etc - love it!

Where did you get spare parts for the Q10? My old sources have dried up...

I loved my Q10 too. Especially unique when I changed the side frame to silver colour, made it look like a smaller classic and the old BBs. Silver matched the frets too. I miss it.

K, interesting way to parse that disclosure. I can't imagine anything/anyone that could serve as a backup for the unique person my wife is.

Actually, I may end up with another Q10 backup as she is torn with the upcoming demise of WhatsApp on Q10 s.

Have you tried Voxer? Version 2.5 or 2.6 or 2.7. Works "well"

D, Based on what I've read, I don't think Voxer is viable for the Q10.

And, since WhatsApp is still available, then it's rather a moot point.

If you feel good with 10.2. No need to upgrade, but I suggest upgrade through OTA when have notice because this is best change for your BlackBerry.

OTA over the air update. Basically this types of update u can get directly from your phone settings. Current version of Q10 OTA is 10.3.2
