Hi there, any suggestions for the "ideal" case for the original Passport?

    IMO, such a case should:

    a) Be of flip type in order to protect the whole phone (and the screen)
    b) Be as light and THIN as possible
    c) Have a hole for the notification led
    d) Be durable enough

The problem is that I haven't manage to find such a case. Thanks a lot in advance for your contribution.

I currently use the original hard shell, but it does not protect the screen and the phone keeps to frequently unlock when I place the phone in my pocket.

    Ideal case for black Passport-shopping.jpg

I like this case cause when in the clip holster it is fully protected. If you like the liter look you can go without the holster. If you want to have it sit on an angle facing you as an alarm clock or watch a movie you can slide the phone in the holster reversed with the clip propped with the kickstand. I can find these cases for around $4 US and I order 2 or 3 at a time since the clip part isn't that Strong. I admit I can be a bit rough on it.

I fitted a black rubberised/plastic back cover (bumper is the word I think people call them) and then using my own very sticky wide double sided tape, attached BlackBerry's black leather flip (book style) cover.

With the added bulk of the bumper, I had to carefully align the flip case so that it would close flat. Although the window for the rear camera is slightly off-center, it's wide enough to afford this adjustment so the camera lens is not obstructed in anyway.

I have Stilgut's tempered glass screen cover fitted too.

The combination is still going strong after four years.

The Passport was released in October 2014, so it is coming up on 3 years. Maybe it just seems like four lol.

No case is my favorite option. Maybe also helped by the fact that there's almost zero case options for the AT&T Passport.
