BB10 allows users to install Android apps. So if I'm not mistaken, the Dtek software is an Android app?? ..........So has anybody tried downloading the Dtek Apk file onto BlackBerry 10, will it work??

DTEK is more of a dashboard and monitor of system stuff, like if you installed a turbo boost gauge on a car without a turbo.

Also a lot of DTEK things don't apply to BB10. And BB10's Android system is pretty old too.

OK. So can't install Dtek on my BB10. BB android is old too, so which Android would you recommend? I'm thinking of putting a sim card in a Nokia 6210 I found in the draw, think it belonged to one of the kids before they moved out......I'm serious. No new handset out there interests me after BB10.

    Lol from smartphone to dumbphone?
Well... If you're only into calls and sms, yeah, it'll do.
Good luck getting spare batteries/accessories, though. 6210 is quite ancient.

You say that, but I've messed about with the 6210. Battery lasted for 3 days! Problem is its too big to carry around when all it does is make calls and sms. I'm not into social media and only use a few apps. That's why I was happy with BB10. Anyway. Far more important things in life.

Well, 3310's release is just around the corner. It's smaller and surely with longer battery life.
I've had the 6210 and 6310i. Those were exceptional phones during their heydays, particularly the latter!
But if you really wanna stick it out with BB10 devices, there's still a number of them being sold online, brand new and pre-owned.
