    I called up verizon at about 6pm, est time. I told them I had no Data service since 3pm!! I told them I was pissed.., so they gave me $25.00 credit on my bill!!! Not bad.

    Why not??? The way things are right now in the economy...I'd say its a big deal, thats if you use the phone like I do.

    Because I am not trying to make them raise the monthly bill overall to make up for that lousy one time credit of $25 for an uncommon network outage.

    Except your "inconvenience" isn't worth $25. Your rage on the phone that led to the credit was to get you off the phone for wasting Verizon's time for 3 hours. It's a best effort service. There is no guarantee of 100% uptime.

    Your "horrible time" without Data for 3 hours was worth 18.75 cents. That's IF you are on BES and not BIS. Don't believe me? 44.99/30/24*3

    actually i have been some data issues here too......browser keeps requesting but get no where and also my slacker won't sign in. ugh. it's not the OS was fine yesturday did a B.P. worked then stopped sigh.......AH

    yea like that would ever happen though. you think they would send out a mas sms saying the server would be down at w/e time. they didn't do that so we should be compensated for it

    Exactly.

    I would only complain if the service was out over a 24 hours period, or longer. They'll make up for their financial loses one way or the other.

    Ya I also got my storm from a lil bit of complaining, was sick of my pearl n wanted this so I got em 2 make a mistake n tell me I was eligible wen I wasn't so he had no choice 2 upgrade me. Also by bitchn I was able 2 get myself out of a $1,800. Phone bill which I was at fault but flipped it on em

    I'm an employee and I have enough sense to not call in and complain about such an outage. In the end it costs the company money to accept your call instead of tend to customers who genuinely need assistance for valid reasons, rather than an outage that is affecting everyone equally. It was going on during my shift and people were pretty gracious about it.
