    Not Sure if it's just my handset but my BIS is offline in the top right hand corner where it displays the signal strength and type of signal all im recieving is GSM as opposed to edge
    Toggle the Mobile Network and everything should work normally. I get that occasionally.

    If my advice doesn't work, you'll have to contact the carrier or reboot the device.

    I work for a Vodafone Platinum Business Partner. We've been advised that all Blackberry services via Voda are currently down - BIS and BES.

    I've seen a copy of the email notification between RIM and Voda, which is time stamped at 08:05 this morning, so I'm not 100% convinced the 8hrs that has been advised above is accurate

    Vodafone Portugal BIS is down too, for about 4 hours now (and counting).

    We have had an internal update from Voda and RIM (time stamped 13:00GMT) to say that services should now be on their way back up, but that it may be a gradual process so don't expect instant results.

    Battery pulls all round might be necessary!

    Seems to be an outage, mobile data keeps dropping out on WINDmobile as of 5am, 6am, 7am and 8am. It's no big deal, hopefully it can be fixed by the wind team.

    Anyone else? I tried toggling the network, didn't do much. Thank goodness for wifi!
