Yup.. maybe.. supposedly...possibly..reportedly or whatever else sort of word you want to use that otherwise says 'We have no idea really' - BlackBerry holding mystery event on Sept. 18th in Malaysia | CrackBerry.com

As someone who lives in the U.S., I've mentally put the Z30 launch in the U.S. in January. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if it took BlackBerry/carriers four months from now to put the Z30 out.

And if history is any indication, we will see commercials/marketing for it sometime around March.

I love BlackBerry, but I'm also a realist.

While I fully expect the z30 to be released first outside the states, it seems unlikely that american carriers will wait until the new year to launch the device. I would think that they are more likely to skip the device entirely if they don't expect it out in time for the holidays this year.

It is on schedule to be released "mid fall" in the USA and "earlier " elsewhere.

'released overseas' implies you think this website is a Yankee website.

Well with the Z10 basically disappearing from the US, I can see the Z30 replacing it sooner rather then later.

If his phrasing offends you, just mentally replace the word overseas with 'in civilised countries' instead.

That could also indicate a lack of interest from those carriers in BB too unfortunately.
