I travel a lot on business, and currently have two Z10s, one STL100-02 that I use in Europe, and one ST100-03 for when I am in the US using a T-Mobile Sim. Does anybody know whether Classic will also be carrier frequency dependent?

I really hope not. At least the unlocked versions that are bought directly from BlackBerry should not be carrier/ frequency dependent. It defeats the purpose of buying an unlocked phone!

I think for the time being, they'll remain with multiple models. But I wouldn't expect as many as the Z10. That phone was pretty rushed arguably.

Only time will really tell, unless someone can offer some form of confirmation in models (which is doubtful)

More information will come as November gets closer.

Thanks Dylan. I wish I could find out sooner. I need to make a decision to wait for the Classic or buy the iPhone 6 which sounds like will be available sooner.

I am tired of carrying 3 phones with me (personal Z10 STL-02 for Europe, personal Z10 STL-03 for US, and Nexus 5 which I am using to get my work emails since our company offers the service only for iPhone and Android devices). As much as I like BB, this is making it difficult for me to stay with them. I can live with carrying 2 phones, but 3 is too many!

The international version of the Z10 i.e. the STL100-1 version works in every country, the only downside is that it doesn't have 4G.

I only carry my Z10 STL100-2 and I have not had a problem with reception or receiving e-mails & text anywhere in the world from Asia to the Americas to Europe, Rocking 24-7 with my Z10 & 64 GB PlayBook.

STL 100-2 is okay for texting and calls in the US, but you won't be getting more than 2G (or slightly higher) speed with it on Internet, which makes the browsing and web access experience too painful and impractical. This has also been mentioned in several other threads.
